Feature Set:  

While Master Storyteller does not have many of the features that the higher-end programs have, it does accomplish its purpose and does it well.

The goal of the program is to educate writers as they progress in their stories. This is accomplished through categories on the left side of the screen and an area to compose on the right. For example, you can click on the character development category and the program will give you tips and an exercise to improve your skills in that area.

You can run this program concurrent with Word or WordPerfect and transfer the information to either program to complete your story.

Ease of Use:  

Master Storyteller has tutorials and a troubleshooter, this would be a good program for those who seek simplicity in writing software.

Ease of Installation:  

The software is easy to install and we didn't encounter any error messages.

Help/Support:  

Master Storyteller has a help section and it serves its purpose, but it doesn't stand above the other programs we reviewed, which offer more in-depth help, such as FAQ.

If you want a creative writing software package with all of the bells and whistles, this is not it. Master Storyteller serves its purpose without many complex features. This program gives beginning writers a chance to grow without the confusion of a more in-depth program.
